मुंबई, दि. 11 : राज्याचे लोकायुक्त न्या. विद्यासागर कानडे (निवृत्त) यांनी राज्यपाल रमेश बैस यांची आज राजभवन येथे भेट घेऊन त्यांना लोकायुक्त व उपलोकायुक्त यांच्या कामकाजासंबंधीचा ४९ वा वार्षिक एकत्रित अहवाल सादर केला.

सन २०२१ या अहवालाधीन वर्षात लोकायुक्त कार्यालयात एकूण ६,६१७ प्रकरणे कार्यवाहीकरिता उपलब्ध होती. यापैकी ३,२०२ प्रकरणे अहवालाधीन वर्षात निकाली काढण्यात आली आणि सन २०२१ च्या वर्ष अखेरीस ३,४१५ प्रकरणे प्रलंबित राहिली, अशी माहिती लोकायुक्त कार्यालयाने दिली.

महाराष्ट्रातील लोक आयुक्त संस्था गेल्या पाच दशकांमध्ये अनेक तक्रारदारांची गाऱ्हाणी दूर करण्यात यशस्वी ठरली आहे. चौकशीसाठी हाती घेण्यात आलेल्या तक्रारींपैकी जवळ-जवळ ७५ टक्क्यांपेक्षा जास्त तक्रारींमधील गाऱ्हाण्यांचे समाधानकारक निवारण झाले, असल्याचे लोकायुक्त कार्यालयाने नमूद केले आहे.

Maharashtra Lokyukta Justice Kanade presents report to the Governor

 

The Lokayukta of Maharashtra Justice V. M. Kanade (retd.) met Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais and presented to him the report of the performance of Lokayukta and Upa Lokayukta for the year 2021 at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Mon (11 Sept).

According to the information provided by the Lokayukta office, in all 6,617 cases were available to Lokayukta for disposal during the year 2021. Out of this 3,202 cases were disposed of, leaving behind a balance of 3,415 cases at the end of the year 2021.

The office has further stated that the institution of Lokayukta has succeeded in redressing the grievances of many complianants during the last 5 decades. It has mentioned that out of the total complaints taken up for enquiry, grievances in more than 75 complaints, have been redressed to the satisfaction of the complainants.
