 Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan, performed the puja and aarti of Lord Ganesha on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi at the Governor’s Residence at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Wednesday The Governor extended his Ganeshotsav greetings to the people on the occasion. Officers and staff of Raj Bhavan joined the Governor in performing the aarti.

Eco-friendly Shadu Idol Crafted by Prison Inmates

The Ganesha idol installed at the Governor’s residence is made of eco-friendly Shadu clay and has been crafted by the inmates of the Central Jail, Nashik. 

The idol was prepared and sent to Raj Bhavan as part of the initiative of Nashik Police Commissioner Sandeep Karnik.
